This formerfishing village is in an area filled with coconut trees, cliffs and lagoons. It was re-discovered by a group of hippies in the 1970s and soon became a tourist attraction. Nowadays, as well as seeing the unique landscape and lush scenery, the visitor has a selection of more than 80 hotels and inns to choose from. During the day, buggy and quad-cycle riding on the dunes are the main attractions, and at night you can go partying in the bars and restaurants on the Canoa’s main street, Broadway.
