The 2018’s Jury

To select the 100 best restaurants, beach huts, sweet shops, coffee shops, ice cream shops, bars, nightclubs, pubs, hotels, cities and towns and tourist
attractions in the State, Diário do Nordeste invited for this eighth edition of Guia Conhecendo o Ceará 13 specialists with different professional
profiles, but who have in common the knowledge of and frequent attendance to the best the city of Fortaleza and the state of Ceará have to offer in terms of gastronomy, entertainment and leisure. They are: journalists, businessmen, a publicist, a doctor, a sociologist and a chef. To make their choices, they used as criteria their experiences as customers of these establishments or as visitors to destinations and tourist spots. These juries are like those friends who, after a happy gastronomic experience, make a point of showing you the restaurant in an impartial manner, with nothing to gain in return.

Alexandre Pereira

Head of the Fortaleza Municipal Tourism Department (Setfor), Alexandre Pereira has been working in the food and service fi eld for 30 years. He is the current vice-president of the National Micro and Small Enterprises Council with the National Industries Confederation (CNI). He holds a BA
in Business Administration, he also has a master’s degree in the same area from the University of Lisbon.

Ana-Maria-Xavier

Ana Maria Xavier

Currently working as Communication Manager of the FIEC System/Ceará (Industries Federation of the State of Ceará), she took over that position aft er almost 20 years as managing director of AD2M Communication. In 2016, she got the fi rst prize of the Northeast in the award conferred by Mega Brazil Organization, in the “Communication Executive” category.

Benjamim Oliveira

Benjamim Oliveira

He has a BA from the University of Fortaleza (Unifor) and a degree in Marketing from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV) and from the Research and Teaching Institute (Insper). He is currently Marketing Manager at Jereissati Commercial Centers (JCC), the company responsible for the management of three shopping malls in Brazil, among them Iguatemi Fortaleza.

Colombo Cialdini

Colombo Cialdini

Currently president of the Brazilian Association of Travel Agencies of Ceará (ABAV) and of SKAL Latin American – Southern Cone, he holds a law degree from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), specializing in Tourism and Events. He is also the president of the Tourism Forum Council of Ceará and of the Municipal Tourism Council.

Elias Leite

Elias Leite

Otorhinolaryngologist and manager, he holds MBAs from Faculdade Getúlio Vargas (FGV) in Business and Financial Management, Controllership and Audit. Senior partner and managing director of Otorhinos Clinic, he is also a partner at Snackout (healthy food) and M7 Development. Author of the book “A Results Leader” (Gente Publishing).

Enid Câmara

Enid Câmara

She is a sociologist with a post-graduate degree in Event Planning, Management and Organization. She is currently a professor at the Higher Education Institution of Ceará (IESC), president of ABEOC Ceará and of the Sector Chamber of Events of ADECE, as well as vice- president of Sindieventos. She is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Events and Tourism, where she occupies chair number 27.

Felipe Calvet

Felipe Calvet

Business Director of Navegantes Internet e Consultancy, he also writes posts for a profi le on Instagram called “Good Food”. He has worked in the most diff erent industries, such as photography, participating in three exhibitions. He published two books and is a founding member of the fi rst beer club in Fortaleza, Börn Beer Club.

Ivan Prado

Ivan Prado

Holder of a BA in Gastronomy from the University Center SENAC São Paulo and a Prochef degree from the Culinary Institute of America, he has been Chef and Gastronomic Consultant with SENAC\Ceará since 2011. He is a researcher of the gastronomy of Ceará, creator of the “Saberes e Sabores do Ceará Project”, which consists in the research and promotion of regional ingredients and cuisine.

JB Uchôa

JB Uchôa

Holder of a BA in Advertising from the University of Fortaleza (Unifor), he is an advertising agent and a fan of good food and drinks. He is also a fan of superheroes and of the nerd and geek culture, as well as a voracious enthusiast of series and movies. He currently works as Advertising and Marketing Coordinator at the Fortaleza City Hall.

Manoel Linhares

Manoel Linhares

With a BA in Civil Engineering, he is the owner of Fortaleza Mar Hotel and has over 20 years of experience in the hotel industry. He is currently the
director of SKAL Brazil and of SKAL Fortaleza, as well as president of the Intermunicipal Union of Hotels and Accommodation of the State of Ceará (Sindhotéis).

Melissa Lindner

Melissa Lindner

She has a BA in Business Administration and in Advertising from the University of Fortaleza (UNIFOR). She worked as a Trade Marketing Supervisor at Ambev and as Marketing Supervisor at Cascaju. Currently, she is Marketing Coordinator at Esmaltec, a company of the Edson Queiroz Group.

Priscila Cavalcante

Priscila Cavalcanti

She has a BA in Accounting from the University of Fortaleza (UNIFOR) and post-graduation degree in Promotional Tourism Marketing. With experience in ceremonial management and event organization, she is currently General Director of Priscila Eventos, President of SKAL Brazil, ex-president of SKAL International – Fortaleza, as well as director of Fecomércio, Counselor at SESC and director of Sindieventos.

Wandocyr Romero

Wandocyr Romero

Brazilian Army Reserve Engineering Colonel and holder of a degree from the Agulhas Negras Military Academy, he is currently the director of Aquiraz Riviera tourist complex, as well as is the head of Aquiraz Riviera Golf Club.
